The KLINGON Empire: The Klingons, originally from the planet Qo'noS, are a humanoid warrior civilization bound by pride, tradition and honor, with a belligerent culture that has made them an interstellar power to be respected. The various Klingon factions were first united when Kahless the Unforgettable killed the Tyrant Molor, some 1,500 years before the current Federation timeline. With that act, the Klingon Empire was born. The Empire has seen long periods of war and short intervals of peace with, among others, the United Federation of Planets and the Romulan Star Empire. Command of the Klingon Empire has fluctuated between an Emperor and the Klingon High Council throughout its history.
